"We had green chicken tamales, green Oaxaca tamales, chile poblano tamales, ground beef with potatoes Gordita and atole de nuez. Everything was very delicious. The green chicken ones were very spicy but if you can handle the heat, you’d love them. Their atole was one of the best I’ve ever had—rich, comforting, and full of flavor but not too sweet. The gorditas were my favorite and would definitely get those again. The cashier was kind and welcoming and the prices are fair. Can’t wait to go back!"

Marco recommended the flautas from Don Nico and the steak tacos. We decided to order the flautas from Don Nico and four tamales of pollo verde. They were absolutely delicious! To complement our meal, we ordered the horchata and the fresa horchata. Both were incredibly refreshing and delicious. We highly recommend this place! We are definitely planning to return to explore the diverse menu of tamales and tacos."

"This restaurant is near my home and I was craving salsa verde pollo tamales which I typically go to Bendiciones tamaleria but decided to try something new, and Tamales Mi Chula DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! i'm very big on my tamales needing to be drenched in salsa the more salsa the better and wow when I opened my bag, it was as though the staff knew I prefer them this way. Absolutely delicious and the price was on point. Now I know where to get high quality tamales for an unbeatable price that's closer and more accessible to me. I’ve seen reviews here from people (who can’t even spell and clearly know nothing about authentic Mexican cuisine) discriminating against the taste of a real local tamale restaurant. Albany Park has been needing a place like this and I would come back here over and over again. All the workers were hardworking, kind and attentive.
